eHealth Ontario is the organization responsible for implementing the government’s eHealth agenda and creating an electronic health record for all Ontarians by 2015.
Quality and Support Services (QSS), Network and Application Services
The Product and Process Management and Technical Writing Services Team of QSS primarily provides solution/service development and implementation methodology maintenance, process development and improvement and technical writing services. It likewise assists in developing a product lifecycle management framework and service delivery infrastructure. It supports other initiatives of the Network and Application Services Division.

Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Provide assistance in developing, aligning and maintaining Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies and frameworks
- Map current-state and future-state business processes and perform gap analysis
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and recommend solutions and implementation roadmaps
- Work with business area leads and other stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improved business performance
- Communicate requirements and solutions effectively to business areas, peers and other supporting areas
- Create and/or enhance business process documentation (e.g., policy statements, process diagrams, terms of reference, guidelines and business process narratives, etc.)
- Prepare training materials on BPM and assist in conducting training sessions
- Perform required research on various IT methodologies, standards and best practices
- Prepare business cases to support BPM initiatives
Your Skills Make the Difference
As a team player and results-oriented professional, your skills and experience will include:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to map and analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and map the re-engineered process
- Experience in documenting operating procedures and participating in process reviews
- Hands-on experience with process modeling tools and excellent use of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of business process management standards
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business process stakeholders and peers
- The following skills and experience are desired but not essential:
- Strong facilitation skills
- Previous experience in organizations involved in healthcare systems integration
- Knowledge of eHealth Ontario

Salary Range: $63,768 - $88,000
